I have a Raider topper on my 92 and one of the side windows is broken. Not the sliding glass but the forwardmost stationary piece on the drivers side. I went to a glass shop and they want $100 for a new one (includes installation.) Anyone know of a cheaper source for a piece of glass like this? I'm wondering if there is some sort of topper graveyard out there because I can install it.
I can't help with the topper graveyard, though it sounds like a good idea.
Have you contacted the manufacturer? I have a Gem-top (I know, different brand) and I found some replacement parts listed on thier website. Maybe Raider has a similar setup?
I had the side glass broken out of one side of my truck canopy, just a great big 'ol one piece on each side, without any sliding glass at all. I had the glass shop use Lexan instead of glass as it was a bit cheaper - it stll cost me $150CDN. The main draw back to Lexan is that it scratches quite easily, not a big deal to me although others may prefer the more scratch resistant glass.
Good luck with your search for a canopy graveyard - let us know if you find one!
