Look at the underhood emissions sticker - does it say OBD-II or OBD-I?

Is the check engine light on? Or is this a pending code? Or is just a monitor that hasn't "passed" yet?

A 2002 should be an ODBII, Is the code for an open heater circuit and a open sensor. I'f that O2 is missing should be throwing those codes. There should be an O2 in front and behind the Cat to test the cat's efficency! The connector should come out from under the heat shield, about 18 inches from the Cat or rear of the test pipe. They may have tucked it under the shield or taped it to the trans harness, on the right side of the truck, "passenger side" I hope they did not cut it, but if they did you can get a replacement and solder and heat shrink the new one on!

I looked under the hood didn't see any sticker but it has had most of the front replaced so it's hard to say. Yes the check engine light is on

There's no O2 sensor harness back around the transfer case? (or if it's not 4WD, around the tail of the tranny? There's where the original cat would end.

Maybe the PCM was swapped with an OBD-II with California emissions?

If you're into getting a tuner, contact 5-star, they can program out the third O2 sensor.

If not, I'd figure out what "calibration" the computer is, and work backwards from there. Find the PCM and see if there's a label on it. Post it here, together, we can do a search and see what it's supposed to be for.

I'm not sure but I just put a 5 start on it and eliminated the rear 02
