OBD2 code p0136
I have a y2k ranger 3.0 engine and i'm pulling a p0136 error code. From what I can tell that is oxygen sensor 2 on bank 1. The truck has 85k mi so it's probably time to change it but is there an easy way to check it out? Thanks.

P0136 is for a bank-1 down stream/after cat converter O2 sensor circuit failure. If you don't have any test equipt, you could swap it for the bank-2 after cat O2 sensor & see if the code follows the sensor. If it does, suspect the O2 sensor, if not, suspect a wiring or electrical connector problem on the bank-1 side.
