Door Speakers
Just short of rip'n panels off and finding out, anybody know the door speaker sizes in a crewcab? With the new D.D. radio installed and the power it puts out, anything above talking volume gets distorted...

All four of them are 6" x 8". I replaced my stock ones with some 6" x 8" Pioneers and have been very happy.
If you want to make things easy (plug and play) without any cutting, crimping, or soldering you will want to get the Metra 72-5600 speaker wiring harness. It plugs into the harness connector and then has two tabs that slide onto the aftermarket speaker connections.
FWIW I check out Crutchfield.com for what fits and see what they have available. I can either order from there or find something I like better but at least I can see what sizes fit and accessories (install kits, connectors, etc.) I need.
The front doors are easy but the back speakers take a little time. I left the bench seat in but had to remove some seatbelt stuff so that I could peel back the moulding to get to the speakers (the moulding is all press fit clips).
