I was installing these.... then it got dark and I had to stop. But 1 question. What are these little clear pieces for?

They are there so the metal bracket doesn't scratch the paint and cause rusting.

I believe its an added layer between the steel bracket and the aluminum to help against oxidization

I did finish installing the splash guards. In total it took about an hour. I could install a second set in half the time but it just took me a bit to figure out the picture only instructions and which tools would actually work in the limited space between the tires and wheel wells
