Lights installed on grille. Waiting to get the large chrome bars back from wrap shop. The metal shims are essential to remove them and took about an hour.
An XLT grille? Haven't seen anyone wrap one of those. I was thinking you were going to wrap the pair of chrome bars that come off individually from Lariat & King Ranch grilles. That XLT gille has a lot of inside corners which will make wrapping very difficult. You may get it on, but I wonder how long it will stay in place before pulling up. I wanna' see / hear how this turns out.
Honestly If I did it again I'd do it half at a time. Top then bottom. Vinyls a new animal to me but I'm a big time DIY person.
The only part that the vinyl gave me troubles was the outside edge of the big bars, having already laid down the front surface, it didn't want to lay into those corners.
I'd probably do vinyl again TBH, but in small pieces. Doing this big was not where I needed to start.
I will be doing the side vents though.
Where I screwed up though was not knowing how vinyl stretches, and doesn't return to it's original dimensions. I have a few too many creases on the edges that didn't figure out how to fix until after I had stretched the vinyl too far.

That looks sharp, alot better than mine! Are you planning on blacking out your headlights and doing the bumper as well? That's next on my list, my bumper will get painted though, I've already got a spare black one sitting in the garage, but I'm waiting on a guy to cut my foglight pockets for me though.
