I took the plunge and got rid of My 7.3. Sad day after driving it daily for 15 years. I recently purchased a 2013 F250 lariat 4X4 crew cab with the 6.7. I will have to say i love it. I haven't been in the forum much these past couple years as far as talking but i have been reading some every now and then. Thanks for the good time in here and i learned a lot. thanks to everyone on here I was able to rebuild turbo and HPOP.
Everybody good luck with your trucks and i am going to be watching the 6.7 forum now. 2
Good luck with the 6.7's- they're tough to beat. I'm looking at ordering a new truck myself as driving the 01 with 329k (and now currently stuck in the parking garage with a crank no start issue) is just becoming unreliable. Glad you took the plunge- hope to you on that board soon.
When I end up moving on, my current parachute plan is to jump into a '12/'13 Lariat or KR with the 6.2. I don't need the 6.7's power, don't want the DPF, and the 6.2 has the same fuel economy and tow ratings as my stock 7.3, so I'll be just fine with the 6.2.
