Header suggestions
Hey everyone,
I have a 78 f100 automatic 2wd with a stock 302 engine. The header cracked and I'm looking for a new set. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also, would BBK shorty headers fit?

Does BBK make them for trucks? I know they make them for 5.0 Mustangs. If you are looking at the fox body headers, I've read that they hit the clutch linkage on these trucks so if you have an automatic you should be OK.

Fovbody shorty headers will work just fine. If you live in an area with rough winters and lots of salty roads, I would recommend ceramic coated headers. I live in CT and I installed POR15 High Temp painted full length headers on my truck 2 1/2 years ago and they are rusted up very badly. I will be going back to manifolds before fall comes around. Just my two cents.
