So I bought a NY van down and FL and there's TONS of rust.
The brakes were horrible and throwing a code for the master cylinder.
I replaced the master cylinder and the new pressure cause the line coming from
the ABS module to the rear to leak from the rust.
The line is RIGHT by the fuel filter.
No idea this part number and no luck finding it so I figured I'd explore making my own brake lines.
After some reading I'm assuming double flared... but what size? lol
(in a few I'll just pull the line and take it to the store but I'd rather get all my supplies and head home.
In many cases you can just buy premade brake lines and by using unions you can make up any length brake lines you may need. No flaring required.
You will however need a brake tubing bender but if you can find the "nicop" brake lines they say that this can be bent by hand as long as you don't try to make to tight of a bend.
