Here are some pics of the gears. There is no Ford logo or pinion depth scribed on the head of the pinion. There is no long common ford part number stamped on the ring or pinion. I have read over and over again that Ford does not manufacture its own gears, at least throughout certain years and certain sizes. From all the research I have been doing and surfing used ring and pinion sets on ebay so try to identify the gears, They appear to be Ford Performance Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 3.73 Gears (86-93 GT)

What do you guys think? could they have been sold as genuine oem Ford gears in 2004? That is the date on the sticker on the box. All the rest of the parts from the kit in the box are in ford bags
