56 Driver door question
So the driver door I have only has two holes for the inside door latch mechanism not three. Thought someone might have filled in the hole but there is no countersunk hole on the backside of the inner door either see pics below.
Curious if anyone has seen this before or did this door come from a specific type of truck? There should be three holes like the passenger side correct?
Thanks.

Here is my door with the three holes. Don't know what is up with your door.

Thanks Joe. I was surprised there was a missing hole. Maybe someone will have another one like it and shed some light.

Hi Kecky,
my door has the same three holes as rangers door:
Maybe it's just a failure from production?

You should be able to drill it out and dimple it yourself using a counter sunk head bolt and oversized nut in the inside ..

Thanks John, I was thinking about the same method to fix it. I have since noticed some other issues with this door and am looking for a replacement but if i do end up using it i will definitely add the third hole.
