Back working on doors again
Seems with my trucks im working on doors every 3 months or so. I want to know what are you guys putting back in as bolts. I had a spare cab for the 51 f1 so i decided just to use it and swap everything over. I know the bolts are 5/16 x 24 thread but what are you all using a allen head a star or torx?
I just dont want the slotted or phillips. I have the triangles out now because i always weld a nut to the backs.threads have been chased.and i just want the right head to order.

Threads chased nuts welded and neverseezed . Still waiting to order some bolts i can take back out if needed My 11 year old nephew welded the nuts on. Its his first time with the mig gun in his hand.. It only took about 6 foot of wire.haha.

I replaced with Allen-head bolts. I would have preferred torx-head but they didn't have them in that size. Make sure that you use anti-sieze compound on the new bolts. It makes it easier to remove the doors later.
