8-bolt wheel rim pattern ...

When did Ford change our 8-lug bolt pattern?

What year range of rims can I use on my F-250?

Any help is appreciated!

8 lug SRW (Single Rear Wheels) on a 6.50" bolt circle:

1948/52 F2/F3; 1953/96 F250; 1967/77 P350 (P series Parcel Delivery); 1967/97 F350; 1969/74 E300; 1975/2014 E250/350; 1997 F250 H/D

F250/350 went to metric wheels in 1999, but no Econoline of any year has metric wheels.

Lip

Thanks! Also, I heard something about an inner lip. A junkyard asked if mine had such a lip. No idea what that means.

If the econoline 8-lugs never went metric. Could I throw on a set of those?

Might refer to which type of hubcap it has.

Originally, there were two types of hubcaps, "innies" and "outies."

Innie: So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.

Outie: So called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

1953/66 F250's have innie wheels, as do some 1967/69 F250/350's. Some 1967/69's, 1970 and later F250/350's have outie wheels.

1953/66 F350's have 6 lug wheels on a 7.25" bolt circle. 1967/97 F350's have 8 lug wheels on a 6.50' bolt circle.
