Hi guys. I have an 06 f450 with a 6.0. i recently started having some slow start issues and was developing a lot of engine pressure. I replaced the oil cooler and the egr cooler. It started and ran about 20 seconds until I accellerated and it died and no hint of starting since. I put a gauge in the icp port and am showing no pressure at all. I ran a hose to it and cranked it and am getting no oil out from it at all. I have replaced the ipr valve and the icp sensor. I air tested from the icp port and am getting a very slight leak but it seems too small to completely stop firing. I have been using Ford ids for about a year and have the latest updates as of today and can't find where it will let me text icp pressure and voltage. The page where you check off all the functions to monitor has nothing about icp at all. Any help would be appreciated as I am used to 7.3s and am lost on this thing.
You said you replaced the oil cooler? Did you fill the valley with oil under the cooler? If not you have to crank it for awhile. Make sure your batteries are up on charge or you WILL fry the FICM. The IDS should show you all the pids

Yes I did, and no, it doesn't

If you have the latest edition of IDS it should show ICP pressure and voltage, fact is there are several videos out there with guys using IDS showing these two readings in graph format.
Is there any oil right under the ICP sensor if you remove it?
Replace the IPR and be done with it. The only time I had a 6.0 cut off on me and had no HPOP the IPR shorted and didn't allow the pump to build pressure use a ford part
I have an 05 with 230k, first time I replaced an injector I put in new standpipes and 50miles later the truck died. I must have nicked an o ring on install or it was a bad one because I found the remains of it in the oil rail.
Second time I replaced an injector the nipple seals were leaking, replaced them and all was good.
Both times, there wasn't enough oil pressure to start the truck.
Both times I found the leaks by doing an air pressure test through the IPR fitting.
Hope you can find it soon and get it fixed.
Ok, All IDS has all the pids. You have to go and punch them in(watch some videos of Fordtechmakuloco,he shows you everything) You really need to have a air test, you have a leak somewhere. Most of the guys here have been where you are and are here to help. The 6.0 is not that complicated once you learn the basics to diagnostics. If you can't figure out the IDS, get torque pro and a dongel. That wat you can monitor your truck all the time. It's cheap and pretty painless to set up. If I can do it anyone can.
