Chemical brothers foam gun. Then I rinse it with the garden hose water that first runs through a deionizer, so I don't need to dry the truck. It dries in the hot sun spot free.

I have a foam gun. It works, has some quirks. I could achieve similar ends with a dirt cheap pump sprayer similar to this:
Amazon Amazon

In fact, I use one similar to that for my RV trailer. I use the foam gun on my ATV, just because I spent so damn much money on it I'm going to get my pound of flesh out of it.

Would you mind giving me some details on this deionizer you're using? Brand, flow rate, etc? I really, really like the idea of not having to hand wipe the rig down after every washing! It was quite the revelation the first time I washed this one compared to the old truck.

Foam cannon from Chemical Guys and a CR Spotless deionizer. Never have to dry the truck and no water spots at all.

I have the Compact Rinse Pro 50. It's a way better deal than the more common CR Spotless system.

As for the foam cannon, I couldn't bring myself to spend all that money like some companies wanted so i bought this one on amazon,
Amazon Amazon
19.99 and works great.

Now as for chemical and towels, i don't skimp on any of that stuff and use Chemical Guys, Detailed Image, Adams, depending on what I need.

And you didn't ask but i'll share anyway, as it pertains to tire dressing, this one from Groit's i've found to never fling off the tires and down the side of the truck.

I bought this chemical Guys Foam Canon off amazon:
Foam canon Foam canon

I have it hooked up to a $69 1500 PSI pressure washer from lowes. It was the cheapest pressure washer at lowes similar to This but a few years older.

It works extremely well combined with the foam canon.

I have a friend that has a industrial deionizer & gave me a 55 gal drum full of deionized water. My next wash I'm going to do the final rinse with the deionized water. These trucks are too big to towel dry!!

I have the CR deionizer and just purchased the Karcher electric pressure washer because it uses less gpm than through the water hose . I am going to use it for the first time this morning and will post my results . My well water here is very hard , so I'm not sure how many gallons the CR will pass before it needs a media change ????

I use an MTM foam cannon and an old sears gas pressure washer. It works great. I buy all my detailing supplies from Shine Supply out of CA.

I use a cheap electric leaf blower I got off amazon to dry the truck and then finish with a towel for a final wipe.

I am looking at deionizers but man they are pricey!

I use a brush from Walmart with a 5' handle, a $5 bottle of Meguiars car wash, and a single 5 gallon bucket with the garden hose. Thanks to our well water, there is no need to dry.

So maybe I'm not the one to listen to, but the paint on my Ram still looks new!
