The exhaust coming out of a two cycle leaf blower is a LOT different (dirtier) than the exhaust coming out of a modern automobile.
If I'm planning to wax the vehicle after cleaning it I'm going to be a lot more concerned about the exhaust from a leaf blower than if I'm not going to wax it.

Are you saying my blower is dirty?
In reality - on the new 2 strokes with all the EPA crap, they don't toss much out the muffler unless you're modding and tuning them how they should be run
I would not at all be worried about the exhaust fumes.
We’ve all got our own ways of cleaning our trucks, some prefer to spend more so they can do less work, some of us love to work so don’t mind the extra effort, and we save a few dollars. My wife and I are both **** about our vehicles, she hand polishes hers a couple of times a week. I may invest in a spot free water system as it would be a business write off and basically end up being free in the long run. My wife would love it and it would benefit my business too. Can’t go wrong.
Electric Blower is what I am referring to. I've heard the arguments regarding exhaust from a gas blower; Electric is much lighter and the one I purchased was INEXPENSIVE and powerful.
I wanted to get the CR Deionizer for my truck, but I found out that they aren't very friendly with shipping to Alaska. The shipping cost they quoted me was more than the system itself. So I settled for just my good old leaf blower. It's done a great job in the past and just leaves a few areas left over to hit with the towel.
I have the CR deionizer and just purchased the Karcher electric pressure washer because it uses less gpm than through the water hose . I am going to use it for the first time this morning and will post my results . My well water here is very hard , so I'm not sure how many gallons the CR will pass before it needs a media change ????
Results were not bad . Nowhere near the spotting I had before . Had a little issue with the pressure washer getting full of water and pumping at pressure , but that worked itself out . Overall good results !
Whats getting on the paint from exhaust? What happens when you're at a stop light and a bus is in front of you and covers your "paint" in exhaust when the light turns green?
Not trying to sound like a dick but I never heard concern for exhaust on paint. If that's the case we would never drive our trucks - at least when there were cars on the road
I believe it's just an unrational fear or paranoia.
Show me 2 identical trucks, that have been taken care of the exact same. One blown off with an electric blower, and one with a gas blower. 5 years...10 years down the road. I bet it would be hard for an expert to tell any difference at all.

Bingo!
Been using my Husqvarna blowers for years on all my cars and this was the first time in my life I heard the argument against them. I also have two electric, one corded and one Rigid cordless - but neither can compare to the 900+ CFM it pushes and 200+MPH air speed from my 580.
huh? not sure what kind of leaf blowers you use but my Husqvarna 580 does not "blow" exhaust through the blower tube. It blows exhaust out of the muffler
i guess it's a matter of what your comfortable with. True you do sit on the road with exhaust coming out of other vehicles. I also know exhaust doesn't come out of the blower, kind of ridiculous that anyone would think of that. However your husqvarna 580 air flow in pipe is 908cfm and your air speed is 206 MPH. No matter how you look at it some air will get recirculated to your intake air. Which I'm not comfortable with blowing on my paint that I spend so much time maintaining. So I'll use my electric blow on my rig and mix fuel around the house.

I think you need to look at the fan system and intake on this blower - you've checked out the specs. And again with as clean as all these new EPA restricted 2 strokes - nothings happening.
You should be more worried about the electric blower sucking in dust and blowing it on the paint.
It obviously a personal preference, but I can talk from my own experience and I have seen zero negative affect of my blower other than it dries it faster than my electric or cordless

All a matter of what your eye catches. Some of us are more picky than others. If your good with it keep rolling with it..

I ran into the same problem with the Flux Capacitor I was wanting to install in my truck. The little gadget was not bad but the fuel supplier were a bitch, damn Iranians.

True. Mine is a ranch truck not a show car. I use the blower more to get the dust off it from driving home on gravel roads than I do for for post wash. But that said, I've used it on sports cars that are garage queens, that never see gravel with zero affect on the finish. I'm picky with some cars, just not my trucks. But they all get blown and all look good after a bath
Of course! From a group of Iranian nationalists. They wanted me to build them a bomb, so I took their plutonium and in turn gave them a shoddy bomb casing full of used rusty Powerwagon parts!
how do you plan to pull the water in to the power washer? Direct drive power washers will not pull from a water source, they must have a pressurized water source. I suppose if you got the tank up high enough, gravity would help feed the washer however, I’d be worried about not feeding enough water and burning up the pump.
The plan right now is to hook up an RV style water pump (RV pumps have a pressure switch to turn the pump on & off when the demand is present). Pressure washer uses under 2 gallons per min, so I figure I can get away with a 3-4 gal/min pump & be good to go.
The other option is to set up a gravity fed system (lots of good youtube vids on this), but I don't particularly want to set this up.
Final option is to just do the final rinse with the DI water sans pressure washer. I can just use a hi flow pump & do a final rinse with the DI water.
