Thunderstruck bumpers

Hello everyone I'm a newbie to the diesel and super duty world. I purchased my 1st F-250 and I was on this website looking to change the OEM bumper. Didn't know if anyone knows anything about this company and the quality of the bumpers. Been searching the Internet and they're so many choices to choose from. The protection to the front end would be the 1st priority and thren looks. Thank you everyone for your thoughts to my ?.

We have three of them on our farm trucks. They are made in Kansas and are very solid. Have nothing but good things to say about them.

Here's a link to the Thunderstruck F250/F350 2017+ bumper. It looks like they have an option to handle the Adaptive Cruise Control device that is on the front bumper. I wouldn't look at a bumper that didn't have that.

Hi HRTKD thank you for looking it over. Can you believe on my Lariet it didn't come with the adaptive cruise control or a front camera. The camera wasn't a big deal anyways. I looked on the steering wheel to make sure since I didn't see the sensor in the front bumper. In the manual it showed the 2 buttons to adjust the distance on the right of the cruise control. On mine all got is reset and cancel.

The lack of ACC makes your bumper search a lot easier and less expensive. As much as I would like to have a winch bumper, I like my ACC even better. Many of the bumpers I've seen are simply "too much". They stick out too far or are just gargantuan. Something a bit more subtle is what I'm looking for. There was one posted up within the past few days that didn't look too bad.

Do you remember what bumper you saw a couple days ago? I'd like to look at it. My wife has an Escape and yes it is nice. You'd think it would've been a standard option being the lariLa package.

I think the ACC was included in the Lariat Ultimate package. There are a couple guys that have added it. Not a small list of parts as I recall.

Here is a link to the bumper thread I've been following. The last few entries have the better bumpers in my opinion.
