Replacement Front Bumper

Was in the northern California last week and hit a fairly large deer with my 2017 Ford F250 KR diesel. This has adaptive cruise control (module is broken). The deer hit the left half of the bumper and did not damage the grille at all. It did push the left front fender back just a little to barely notice.

The question is should I stick with the stock replacement bumper or go for an aftermarket one that will be compatible with the adaptive cruise control module? I have a budget of about $1500 if I do want to do the aftermarket one.

What recommendations do you have for an aftermarket brand or stick with stock?

My opinion is aftermarket for sure. I’m not sure which models work with adaptive cruise though.

I would get a Buckstop Classic or Classic 2 i had one on my 2008 F150 and it was hands down the best built aftermarket bumper made.

I prefer the look and protection of a full replacement bumper and grill guard.

The Ranch Hand Legend is supposedly compatible with Adaptive Cruise. I paid a tad over $1500 installed for mine after taxes.

Several companies have them advertised online for $1350 and free delivery.

I think I will go with the Road Armor ($1600) or Fab Fours ($2400) bumper. Depending on how quickly I can get it, will depend on the one I order.

Thank you everyone.

LOL some of yall need to read his post again. He has 1500 to play with and Buckstop and Road armor is a lot more that 1500.

Your best bet for the money you have to play with is Ranch hand.

I would think that anything with a bunch of mesh across the grill area is going to be a problem with the adaptive cruise control.

The ACC isn't in the grille, its down on the bumper area. The mesh wouldn't be in the way at all.

West in HDX Grille Guard

Anyone have experience with Westin products? I'm looking at the HDX grill guard with winch mount from e-trailer. Looks good, just wondering if it could take a hit.

I ordered the Road Armor bumper with the pre-runner guard. I also got the ACC mount as well. The bumper is coming from Texas, so will not be here until middle of next week. The dealer will not start on the truck until after Nov 14th as I have a trip I need the truck for. Stay tuned! I will post some pictures after everything is installed.
