Speedometer calibration

anyone know how to do it for a my2000 w/o going to dealer? can forscan do it?

You have to be able to access the ABS module. Any computer/program that can access the ABS might be able to do it.

I think forscan can, if not i will ask the guy at my local shop before calling dealer. Need him to do my ac purge/fill anyway

I think with your new tires it will be more accurate then it was with the original. Mine is within 1 mph now, before it was off by at least 3 mph.

wont find out until tuesday at earliest. Every time i have checked it the speedometer is about 1-2mph faster than gps speed. So if it goes the other way it might balance out

you called it. dead on accurate with my Garmin Fenix3 watch now, was off by 2mph before.

What tire size are you running? I switched to 275/65-20 and the speedo on my '01 Ex is around 5mph slow. I'd like to find someone to re-cal w/o going to the dealer.
