Speedo re-cal

Guys, a friend of mine just put an 8 inch lift and 37's on his 02 and was wondering how to recalibrate the speedo. I know there's a trick, I just can't remember where or how.

it's in the ABS speed module. Tuners can't adjust for the 7.3L's. The dealership (ack) or a reputable shop can do it for you.....OR.....you can buy the Superchip Tru-speed and do it yourself. They are like $200 bucks I think? I had my speedo re-calibrated and can tell a difference with the shifting big time, but I did the DP Tuner, and John Wood Valve body all in the same day as the re-cal.

Dealers can't recal tires above 35". Get the superlift tru speed Travis mentioned. Its fairly simple to install once you can get to the ABS module(i had one heck of a time).

I had mine done at the dealer for $35 and 10 min. The only thing is that the factory computer can only go as high as 35's. Might need to go with the Tru-Speed
