Im havin issues on my truck it aint startin like it should so i thought it might be the solenoid again so i changed it an nothing then did some research an ended up changin the clutch position sensor an still dont have anything i can cross the solenoid an it will start no issue but i cant do that 247 an i was wonderin what yals ideas are an this is a 1990 ford f250 xlt lariat 4x4 with the 5.8l an a standard 4 speed trans with overdrive an ive been drivin this since last year when it had 184000 miles an it turned over 200000 this past week
Please describe your starting issues. What does it do when you try to start it normally and exactly what happens. More info will get you going. In the meantime you might want to figure out how to get the pigeons out of your barn/shed. Welcome. Sandy
That was the pics of thr the truck when i got it an when i try to start it it would take a couple hits of thr key for it to start then it would start every now am again il have a runaway starter because the solenoid sticks an lately it was just not hittin like it should id have to pump the clutxh an put it completly to the floor
I can get my 89 F250 started but if I let off the gas it dies do you know anything that could be so I can fix it

A sticking solenoid sound like trying to start the engine with a low battery. When the battery has low voltage the current from it will be much higher and can weld the contact plate to the contact points in the solenoid.
