Hey all, I’m still slowly workin’ on my ‘91 f150 xlt Lariat, 5.0L efi w/AOD, and I have come upon another (in the long list) problem. My passenger power window didn’t work and I just got around to looking at it and found 1, the switch is fried and 2, so is the socket on the harness for the window switch. So far the junk yards in my area (Panama City, Fl.) don’t have any trucks my years (‘87 - ‘91) with power windows.
Well the LMC Truck catalog is pretty straight forward but I wasn’t able to figure out how to order what I think is the right pigtail from the Motorcraft link. I may try to give them a call Monday or Tuesday if I can figure out how to do that. It’s probably right there I just don’t see it.
You have to click on the blue part number next to the list of parts at the bottom of the page. That will put it in your cart. Then go to your cart, verify and pay.
Yea thanks but that’s not the one I’m have a problem with. It’s the motorcraft.com page. Also didn’t find the pigtail to match the one of mine that’s slightly melted and missing one of the terminals. The part number from my plug isn’t listed anywhere on that site.
Wonder if they (ford), used that particular plug in any other vehicles besides trucks?
part number on the plug is E7TB-14489-CA. Also has a CX1 on it as well. Anybody know how to cross reference a part number to a different vehicles?

NumberDummy on this forum most likely can answer that for you. Had your thread title been more like "can someone cross reference this engineering number for me?" he might have already chimed in.
Thanks Robert, I checked out the west coast cars and found the exact pigtail I am looking for. Ordered it last night, supposed to have it by Thursday! And free shipping to boot!! Works for me. Looks like there will be some soldering done in the next week or so.
Thanks My4FordTrucks, I didn't want to start another thread while a possible answer might still show up.
While helping my oldest son move the other day, I came back to the truck for another armful of his stuff and was greeted by a fairly good sized puddle of water from under neath my front bumper. Oh well, looks like I have a date with a pressure tester in the near future. The list just never seems to get any shorter. As soon as I fix one thing there's another waiting!
