Better for sure, but there is only so much you are going to reasonably do to a 5.0 for power.
Probably better and cheaper to get a different truck.

Getting a new truck is not an option, as I grew up in that truck and bought it from my father, I plan on parking it to build it piece by piece, while driving something else. I plan on re-gearing to 4.10, putting LT headers, as well as new exhaust, and wait until the 5.0 blows out the MF while building a 5.8 to go in it!!
