3/8 NF , just make them long enough to be able to get the spring out. I think the rods I used were 18" long but I would have to confirm.

Wheelbase on this truck is 114". That is measured on my '51, from center of rear wheel to center of front wheel. That measurement should help without needing fenders on the vehicle.

That's really a good point!
Except that not all factory wheel bases center the wheels in the fenders

53 to 56 ford trucks and 55 to 59 chevy trucks are a perfect example of the wheels not being centred from the factory...

Also an important piece of the puzzle!
IIRC...my wheelbase is 113.5 ish now that the JAG IFS is set in stone. Oh and shortening the F3 frame to F1 length. Mark twice, cut once!

Man these old trucks sure took alot of abuse back in the day lol.. the devil is in the details.. spent 2 hours just slucing and tapering a 2x4 tube just to make it look slick.. a 3/8 little taper that nobody will ever see... lmao
