Came across this 51-52 upper grille panel with no holes for an emblem or letters..........never seen one before. Is this from a '51 w/ a six? Or some unicorn piece?
First thing I looked for was welded holes, but no. Reason I thought '51 six is my '51 COE has no V8 emblem on the front......
Thanks Stu for the confirmation!
I am impressed with the knowledge on here!....... absolutely anything can be answered!....... lol..... a little off topic but Cindy Brady from the Brady bunch had a doll....what was its name?........ this will prove it!.....
In 1952, Ford unveiled its all new 215 cid 101 hp overhead valve I6 engine, and it was deemed worthy of its own distinctive badge. Stu has some beautiful examples that are all painted in their glorious original colors. To my eye, they look better than the V8 badge.
