I have a 2002 F150 and am need of a jack handle. Seem like everywhere I look, the replacement set ads say 2004-2014. Would hate to order the wrong kit.
My spare tire is dangling underneath the bed and need to tighten it back up. I have the spare tire lock key, and the lug wrench, but not sure how or where to order the replacement.
Need to ASAP before spare is scraping the ground. Please advise. Thanking you in advance!
Not sure why I am trying to explain this, but here it goes.
My "intention" all along was to purchase the part I needed. The auto parts store did not offer it, but I had to go there anyway for something else. My intention for posting here, was to determine if anyone knew if the kits offered online would work on my make and model, despite being a couple years older. My intention for not going to the junkyard was and is because there is a person from my past who works there that I would rather not see.
Today, I learned that the part I needed was clampled under the hood. The tire is fixed. Thank you to those with suggestions and I apologize if I wasted someones' time or confused anyone.
