Where would I find my JACK?

I recently purchased a 1961 Ford F100 Unibody Custom Cab 292 3 -speed. My question is where were the jack and tools located if any?

Thanks Bill.

MPC at least for 65-66 in Illustrations does not show a Jack. Parts listing it does, jack and wrench should come with it. I remember my dads to be behind the seat but again thats 45yrs ago. . .

Should be jack, jack handle and lug wrench.

The spare tire was an option. If not ordered, there will be no jack, handle, or lug wrench, no spare tire carrier.

If there's a spare tire carrier under the truck at the rear. and the spare is there, look inside the center section of the wheel, see if the jack is there.

If not...look under and behind the seat, which can be tilted forward.

The spare was just in the back of the pickup bed. The spare tire carrier is there... However... no jack or wrench. Do you by chance have an illustration of the correct parts?

Thanks again. Bill.

There's no pic in the parts catalog, but the 'bottle' jack is the same 1948/79 F100/250 (D3TZ-17080-C replaced 8C-17080).

The lug wrench is the same 1948/79 F100/250, also the same as misc 1962/79 Passenger Cars (C2SZ-17032-C). Look in the trunks of: Galaxie/LTD/Thunderbird/Mercury Monclair/Marquis/Lincoln/Mark III/IV/V.

The jack crank is hinged, can be folded in two (82Y-17081-B) for EZ storage under/behind the seat. It's still available from Ford cuz it's been used from 1938 thru today for myriad trucks.

1967 and later F100/350's: The jack and lug wrench are mounted on the left fender inner apron, retained by clips.

Unless the foldable jack crank is present (will be under/behind the seat-this was an option for these trucks), the looong one piece jack handle (C7TZ-17081-A) is clipped to the front of the radiator support.

The clips are very prone to breakage, so if hittin' wrecking yards, also look under/behind the seat for the little charmer.

82Y-17081-B .. Hinged Jack Crank Handle / Available from Ford

MSRP: $26.45 // FTE sponsor partsguyed.com price: $19.04.

The “”replier” to this almost 10 year-old thread is asking about the Ranger fender badges. OP inquiring about the jack has not logged on to FTE for almost three years.
