When I start my truck each time, how do I get the "My View" screen to be the default on screen.
Now the off road screen comes up each time.
I tried to find the answer in the owners manuel, but Ford messed up and sent me the micro font sized
version and I'm having a hard time reading it. If one of the grand kids would just come over......
iirc the 'defaul' is where you last left it. Mine always comes up to the option I have set in My View. If I change it to perhaps show navigation, that is what comes up the next time I start the truck; well, the compass comes up since I may not have a destination plugged in at the moment I start the truck.

Link to owner's manuals for you. Agree, that the last one I had is the one it starts in. Maybe make sure you have at least two options in the My View (like Trip 1, Compass/Nav, and Off Road)? Ford Owner's Manuals

What happens when you start your truck?
"Towing" comes up when I start my truck. Even tho I'v chosen Trip 1 and Fuel as my 2 to show.

Ah. It thinks you still have a trailer attached. Select "no active trailer" from the towing menu, and it'll then realize no trailer is attached and go back to default.
This is a known behavior (not problem, just behavior) if you shut the truck off and then disconnect the trailer. The first time, you just need to select no active trailer. If you disconnect while the truck is running, it usually recognizes the disconnect and you don't have to do the menu selection.
I dont see a "no active trailer" option. I've been thur the trailer menu 3 times, I may be blind..... But as I go thru the trailer menu, it does say "no trailer dectected"

Yes you need to "Trailer Setup, "Select trailer" "no active trailer"...
I don’t understand the trailer feature, you would think it could recognize that a trailer isn’t connected, much like what happens if you press the trailer brake switch.
Took me a bit to figure that one out
