won't rev up
I have a 97 psd and when I first start it up in the mornings or after it sits 3 or 4 hrs it starts easy but when you try to drive it bogs and won't go above 2000 rpm. If I let it idle for 15 to 20 minutes first it runs just fine. Does anyone know what this might be?

I had this same problem when i first bought my truck used last year. I have since put a new 4" exhaust on it and really havent had a problem. I think it happened ostly in the winter, so that might have been it too. Havent been thru a winter with the new exhaust, but i agree with Powerstroker250. Just let it idle and warm up and it will be just fine!
