Center Console/storage options?
Hello all,
I just upgraded to an '06 F250 Crew Cab with the 6.0 diesel to meet my towing needs. So far I love the truck, but am a bit disappointed with the lack of interior storage space. Since I have a full cabinet shop, as well as a few metal working tools, I am thinking about building my own center console to make better use of the space occupied by the current deep pit of a console the factory provided. I am curious if anyone has made their own or seen any other consoles that I could view or get ideas from to incorporate into my own? Or if you have ever thought to yourself "man I wish I had a place to store this or that" or other ideas, I would love to hear them.
Any and all suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

Well, I've got the same "problem". The middle seat in my truck is missing due to some boring laws in Luxembourg. So I could buy a usual middle seat as a spare part or much better, use a storing box like you.
I went trough some thoughts in the past time and why not to use a cubby box for the Land Rover Defender? They are cheap, sort of easy to get and pretty durable. But first I have to figure out if it fits or not.
