shouldn't the FX4 off road package have Rancho shocks? My 2018 came in yesterday and its got the standard black cheap shocks on it with an FX4 sticker on the box. Is that all I get now is a sticker?
The hill decent is a joke. Have it in my 14, don't see any difference. So basically the fx4 package is now stickers. Nice. I don't see a camera by the ford emblem in the front so I think I'm going to be surprised eith all the stuff my truck don't have that I thought it did.
I love the Hill Descent. Skid plates are about as good as I'll need.
Can always add more armor plate over them easy enough. Just bolt more steel to the existing plate. The Rancho shocks are lame anyways. Mine are already rusty eye sores. Get real shocks when you order your 1st set of tires.
Fx4 should include other things. Maybe they'll add a front E locker, Detroit Locker, or Truetrac in the future. Then again, ya'll would complain "why can't we order the front locker without Fx4" and we be right back to where we are.
The standard shocks pretty much the same as the fake Rancho shocks. Both Ford products produced by Tenneco with different paint jobs. Most who aren't happy with the OE offerings go with Bilstein 5100, Fox 2.0, or Rancho 9000 Series. I went Fox 2.0 and am very happy.
Had my 2.0's installed before delivery. Stage 3 dropped shipped them right to my dealers parts dept for all my trucks. Mark @ Stage 3 is great to deal with.
