There is a very nice '52 F2 for sale on Bring a trailer website,it's a auction sight and is sitting at $12k right now.Just posting if anyone is interested, L8R ZFLASH https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1952-ford-f-4/
Nice looking. Sorry to nit-pick, but why not paint the engine the correct color?
If you read the comments, the responses from the seller indicate he knows very little about the truck. For instance, he didn't realize the temp gauge reads H when power is off. No spare tire carrier, no battery holddown, The red center wheels look awful IMO.
Very nice F-2 . As Ross stated the red inner wheels distract from the whole wheel appearance . Nice looking '52 Magic Air heater w/ correct emblem . Probably one of mine .!! Lacquer over linseed oil ? Not going to happen .
One could not build that truck for $16,500 . A very good deal .
I like that F2 a lot. Sure, I'd change a few things cosmetically but in less than a week I could have it looking exactly how it suits me.
What's the fun of buying a finished truck that is already 'done' ?
I see it's at $16,500 already with 3 days to go. For an express bed truck, that is encouraging to us express bed fans.

Holy smokes - it sold for $41,000.
I would not have predicted that since it wasn't a short bed. But I'm happy cause I have a finished '51 F2 like that one in my garage. Might have to increase the Hagerty insurance value on it.
I'm kind of glad that I've begun painting the '49 F3 that same color. On a thread with a poll here last fall, the green color took first place. Looks like the bidders agreed.......
I expected more to see chatter on here about that selling price. Is the market really that strong, or was this just a matter of three or four bidders who really had to have it no matter what it costs?
I think I saw four bidders in the last couple of days.
