So I have a 2003 f250 with the 5.4 and this past few months have been battling mileage issues, I recently replaced the o2 sensors asI found that the old ones had 1 reading 0.000 volts and the other was reading outside the spec.
now with the new sensors I still have 1 reading 0.000 volts according to the manuals i dont see any fuses for the o2 sensors on this truck is this correct?
I was assuming and maybe incorrectly that since That was the only other o2 sensor reading it was reading the other upstream sensor and mislabeling it as a downstream.
Thats interesting I am pretty sure a V-8 motor has both banks and I have 2 upstream Oxygen sensors. So if the 2 O2 sensor isnt bank 2 what is it? every-time I have ever dealt with oxygen sensor the bank referenced the side of the V motor and then the number after that inicated the position in the exhaust system.
