2002 Explorer stops running

2002 Explorer stops running
2002 Explorer XLS, 4.0L, 4x4, 188,500 miles just quits running after 20, 10 or 5 miles. No CEL. Starts back up after maybe a 4-5 minute wait. Anyone had an issue like this that can point me in the direction of problem. I have replaced the fuel filter and checked for codes.

I had that 3 months ago..... fuel pump died... when you slam the door / etc, it bumps the pump a bit and it starts turning again..... next time it will not start, get under the hood, push the "Schrader valve" on the fuel rail and confirm that there is no gasoline in the fuel line.... next time you turn the key on- off a couple times, and slam the door, see if you have pressure in the line then.
