I have a 1987 F-250 4x4 eight hole wheels. My question is what other year wheel will fit my truck.I need new tires. there is a truck parts wreaking yard local. They have many good used tires already mounted on rims. So what year rims will fit my truck? Will Dodge or GM fit? Thx David
You currently have steel wheels and are looking for aluminum off a junked truck? Sorry but I’m not really following your logic. The yards around me will change for both the wheel/rim and the tire. They will sell you just the tires if that is all you want.
I apologize maybe I didn't make it clear what I wanted. My wheels and tires are both trash. So say I fine a set off a 1998 or a 2001 Ford F-250 will they fit my 1987. Or if I just measure centers will that work. THX David
Any wheel that has a 8" x 6.5" bolt pattern will fit on you're truck. So any wheels from a F-250/350 up until 97 will work, and some older dodge or chevy wheels (before 2000) may work, but I'm not sure which years.
Nothing past 97 will fit on you're truck without modifications/adapters, since they all switched to metric by then.
