Rollover safety
I have been reading about the crash tests and rollovers and I was wondering since I have a 2003 F-250 crew cab how safe it is in a rollover. I've only been able to find pictures of 2002 and older trucks with the cab crushed all the way to the window sills, and they are all on lawyer websites. I am a bit skeptical about how true it is that they always crush like that, Without knowing the details. I have also heard that in 2002 or 2003 Ford reinforced the roof, but I am not sure.
I just wanted to know if the attorney websites are just trying to scare you in to thinking that the roof always crushes like they show or are they just showing extreme examples.
Thanks,
I wouldn’t worry about.
If you’re doing things that increase the risk of rollovers (ie: rock crawling), then just beef it up to where you’re comfortable.
