Hey first time posting; have read the forum several times for advice. I bought a Tekonsha P3 and the factory pigtail to plug in to my factory trailer brake wiring harness under the dash. After plugging it in I have no power. I ohmed out the pigtail and all the wiring is good. I check the factory harness and do not have 12v there. I checked the fuse #6 30A it was good. What else could be causing this? When I hook up any trailer to my 7 way or 4 way the lights on the trailer work. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Fuse #6 (should be 20 amp Mini), it powers the trailer turn/stop signals. Fuse #101 is a Maxi fuse, should be a 30 amp and provides power to brake controller.
Manual, page 162: http://www.ford-f250.com/manuals/200...s%20Manual.pdf .
Hope this gets you going!
To clarify you are referring to the fuse panel under the steering column? I’ve seen on other threads people referring to another fuse block. I didn’t know of any other fuse locations. Thanks

Yes, referring to the fuse panel under driver wheel in cab, page 161 of manual.

the other fuse panel they refer to in other threads is under the hood against the driver side fender.. but it only contains a few fuses and relays needed for the engine management systems. your issue is going to be the one under the dash...
