Will the FL3Z-16A506-FB brackets fit the two front mounts on the “Extended Length” Super Duty OEM flat steps ?
i know the rear mount is definitely different.
I’m sure I’ll get blasted for resurrecting an “old thread” lol
Ive had the F150 steps and brackets on mine since day one. I love em. Tucked up nice and tight and just the right height for me. I don't get in or out of the truck without using them. I don't get slush build up on them because I have the WT mud flaps that block most of that crap.
all of my trucks have the WT or Husky flaps on also but when turning with a plow and windy you still get snow and slush all down the sides. If it’s a daily driver guess it would be better. Don’t want to see anyone make the same costly mistake I did. I’m 6.2 and it’s a hell of a step with size 13 work boots And 2” of space between rocker and step.
The F150 steps are so close on our F150 that you can't use them unless you step just right.
You slip off of them.
The super duty steps allow you to pull those steel toes shoes on them quickly and easily.
I plan on doing this mod but in previous trucks I've had them Line-X applied which solves the slipping problem and they are much stronger. Cost me $185 the last application.
I just ordered F150 Raptor steps for mine. I don't like the looks of running boards on a truck, but had to put something on it so my parents could get in it the few times they ride with me...so I went more for looks than function.
I have the Raptor running boards. Love them! They are very wide, and have plenty of steep surface to use. My foot feels firmly planted when I get in the truck. As an added bonus, because they fit close up to the door and are also so wide. They act as door protectors in parking lots. Other people’s doors will hit the running boards and not scratch your paint.
Thanks for the pic.
They look much better raised up closer to the body
I’ve never liked the look of any steps or boards but now that I’m older : they are necessary :-(

Don't see a need for steps on a F150. I ordered my 2019 F250 w/o steps, bought aftermarket, perfect hight and distance from Rocker panel is adjustable.
