Finished Some Mods Today........

Seen this on an older post. Did Clays truck first, then mine.

This is the 1"x1/8" pice of flat stock I used to support the antennea. Solid as a rock.

Finnaly got my pre-filter in. Not happy with the bracket, but it was hot, and I was lazy. I'll build something better later.....

Thanks Andrew, that's why I liked it so much, almost looks factory! I got the idea from 1975StroppeBaja.

Is it in your face or does the A pillar hide it some?

It's hiding pretty good behind the A-pillar. It in no way obstructs my view.
This is me holding the camera up where my face normally is.

Looks good buddy! I was sold as soon as you sent me the thread link last week.

Is that the Firestik you told me about? Is that a 4' or 5'?

I'm also looking hard at different single din size CB's to mount in the dash like you suggested from that same thread.

I plan on making a new thread asking for input once RRE is finished and most of the guys are home.

Nice work Jeff. I did not do the pinion seal today...had to hunt down a new handle for the passenger door. Someone thought they needed my truck more than I did.

Here's the grocery list for the pre-filter:

Baldwin filter base part number- FB1311

Baldwin filter part number- BF1212

I picked up the fittings at my local hydraulic shop. I believe they are 6an. I ran 3/8 hose from my tank to my pump many moons ago on the advice from Dan (kwikordead) I believe.
