I have replaced the cam shaft synchronizer before on my 4.2 E250 before without an issue.
This time, I went to install the replacement synchronizer and I can not get the oil pump intermediate shaft to go in. There seems to be something blocking it. Anyone else ever run into this?
I'm guessing that the oil pump intermediate shaft goes into the oil pump and that there is something wrong with the oil pump.
