Torn between replacing EGR valve or doing delete

Delete the EGR cooler with a good kit .Leave the EGR valve in place and plugged in .The EGR cooler is the cause of coolant breaking down and plugging the oil cooler .When the engine oil gets too hot , injectors can fail , and the overheated oil can't lubricate the engine properly .
