Binding axle after seal replacement - HELP!

I had a leaking hub seal on the drivers rear on my 2013 F350 Super Duty SRW. I removed the axle, replaced the seal, replaced the axle, tightened up the axle nut to 65 FP and backed it off 8 clicks. I replaced the emergency shoes, reinstalled the rotor but when I went to put the calipers back on it appears that the axle is not far enough in. The hub sticks out too far and it's off by 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It binds against the caliper. What did I miss?

hub is not fully seated on axle spindle, probably hung up on the seal. You may have to replace that seal again. Before installing in hub make sure the seal actually fits over the seal surface on the spindle..
