F100 front end lean...
Hey all. I've been playing with this 79 f100 ranger short bed. As I was debating on what to do with suspension and rust repair. I noticed she has an aggressive passenger side lean . By about an 1.5" and the camber is terrible on that side.
The PO put in new lowering springs in the front, the drivers side is great exactly what I'm looking for supposedly 2.5" drop. The rubber snubbers on the beam is off only 1/2" left to right. I cannot find any play in the king pin. I'll have to measure the frame to the floor to see if it's the body that's off.. the pass side body mount looks great and original. I know the bushings are expired but could they cause that much of a change in suspension or could it be my beam is bent? Does the 1/2" spring difference make such a big difference up top? I'm fine with a 1/2" difference but closing in on 2" makes it look goofy, plus that camber issue needs to be addressed.. should I just toss these new springs and just get drop beams?
what am I missing?
