'06 3.0 XLT?

'06 3.0 XLT?
Is there any known problems specifically with the '06 3.0 engine? (I have an '03 3.0 FLEX now) I feel the FLEX is somewhat underpowered, mind you I don't need any vehicle that I drive to stand up on the rear wheels.
I'm kind of looking at an ultra low mile '06 XLT Supercab with the 3.0 engine, I assume, and have heard that the FLEX was only 1-2 years-('02 & '03)??
I'm thinking that the '06 will be a touch better than the '03.......

Not sure, but it's likely that same basic 3.0 Vulcan V6 as your older one. There may have been a few changes between models, but I doubt it's much different from yours. I could be wrong. Look it up, see if it's the same. The Vulcan is not known for great power or fuel economy, but it is known for reliability.
