Hi FTE Friends,
It's been a while since my last visit here, I bet you know why...
I honestly can not recall but out of the four (4) surgeries I've had regarding this blessed Cancer, none of them has beat me down more than this last one on February 28, 2018! sigh
Onward, Today being that it turned out to be an absolutely gorgeous day I couldn't help but fight my wife and "disobey" her request to NOT drive the truck for I could suffer the consequences (but what she really means is that she will have to take extra care of me) for I'm such a baby... Anyway, I took the truck out. Showed "her" the ignition key and I'll be darn if she didn't hesitate for one second... I mean, VROOM! And although I rode the kids - yes, kids... had I mentioned Sebastian has a sister, now 6 months old? - to the park and back it FELT GOOD!
Yes, I'm tired now. But who cares... I drove the truck! Did I mention it felt good! Geez I missed her...
If I may, here are the kids nicely strapped in their car seats... Some people have stated, here around town, they would never put a car seat in their truck. I smile and think to myself, good for you. Sebastian has ALWAYS enjoyed riding since birth and now Natalia seems to be enjoying it as well.
Warm Thoughts & Happy Easter my Dearest of friends.
Paul
Hey Paul,
Happy Easter over there! It's good to see the family riding to the park in your old truck!
Nice looking baby! Why not show the newbies how nice your truck looks....
Riding in your truck is good for you! Good to hear from you, and good to see that you are still fighting and loving your family and your truck! Good luck with it all and Happy Easter!
Paul,
Glad to hear that you have been blessed with a daughter and that your truck continues to be a source of therapy. The cancer stuff is a far different sort of blessing. Best wishes to you and your family, Paul. Give all of them a extra long hug for us.
GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY, it sure is nice, no it's great, no it's actually,"NEATO PIE SUPER JET" ( and you can't get any better than that) to see your Avatar pop up, you are missed around here for sure. I'm sorry that you have had to go through so much, dealing with your health, but you have sure been blessed with some beautiful children and an absolutely wonderful Wife, not to mention that you got your truck finished while you were able.. Blessings, good health, and happiness to you and yours. Great to hear from you Paul.
I'm just going to hire Jim for posts like this. Jim, you have a way with words.
I will add that it might physically wear you out to take the truck out, but on occasion the long term mental health benefits outweigh the short term physical setback.
Keep fighting, we are all praying for you and your family.
Also, just sitting in your truck can be therapy. Don't be a stranger.

Joe, you ain't t bad with words either.
Paul, I'm glad you were able to get out in your truck with two lovely girls! We're praying for you. Hang in there and stop in here more often.
What perfect, adorable children! That picture is amazing. What with the little guy eating his fries and the baby girl looking so cute, and all in your truck. You should have that one enlarged and frame it! Good luck to you with your health, you have a lot to live for.
Spent several hours this morning on my Rider knocking down the growth on my lower property, Sniveling, because my Rotator Cuffs are killing me. After reading this, I think I need to just shut the hell up....

Great Courage, Great Post.
What Paul is going through makes all of our aches, pains & hardships trivial in comparison. I try to remind myself when im having a bad day, there is always someone who is having a worse day than I.
