Bolt size

I just got my new 5th wheel and when I went to plug in the electrical cable, I saw that the bolts that hold the plug in are missing. I went to the dealer and they cannot find the correct specs on the needed bolts. Does anyone have the particulars on the needed bolts? I have attached a photo to show the ones I need.

Before you ask, no, I wasn't very impressed with my parts person. The Ford catalog did not have the correct diagram, but he could have gotten his fat *** off the stool and found something.

Don't know off the top of my head, but are the nutclips in place? If so, you can pop one off and take it with you to the hardware store to figure out the thread. And if they're not, you're also missing the nutclips.

Mine is aftermarket, but I imagine Bargeman (or Pollack) are pretty standard. I'd go with M8.
I'd also recommend pulling the plug out of the hole to ensure you have something to screw them into. There should also be some kind of insulator to isolate the bolts from the aluminum.

Unless you had an aftermarket bedliner installed and that company removed the bolts, Ford needs to be responsible for this. You paid a lot of money for a vehicle and shouldn't have to be performing any "work" on it in order to make it right.

But, as you likely know, its probably a lot easier to just go to a hardware store and find the bolts you need.

I agree 100%. Give it to the dealer and tell them to fix it.
