Can't definitively answer for 79 on as they claim as my truck is a 78, but if the same you are still going to have to do some cutting to separate the heater control support. It and the radio support are one piece on mine.

Agreed. I found it strange they say 79 on. I figure 73 to 79 should be the same basic dash. May be a typo, may be poor marketing. If it worked, I doubt I'd be the first to know!
