'79 c4

Swapped a '77 C4 into my "79 f100. The '79 nss doesn't allow shifting into park. Bought a '77 nss, but it is colunm mounted. What is the best way to go about this? I don't want to rig it up, but don't have lots of time, or money. Lost, and frustrated at this point. Any help would be great. Thank you.

You need to use a 1979 NSS. Make sure it works correctly. Get everything for a '79. 1978/79 NSS was mounted on the transmission. 1973/77 NSS was mounted in the column.
