Both the output to the cooler and the return from the cooler are on the passenger's side of the transmission. The front fitting is the output, the rear one is the return.

I’m pretty sure that’s the return, then. I’ll have to crawl back under the truck to double check, but the busted fitting is at the rear passenger corner of the trans pan.
