Yess that looks correct. So for whatever reason, mine does not have the actual connector, like I said the wires literally are just slide right on to the parts inside the ignition coil. So, if I use that connector and do the splice. Do I attach the 2 green wires on that connector to the left wire and then the red connector on the right wire. Then the connector to the radio silencer I can just leave that alone?
Those metal pins slide up into the connector then the small tab on the pin latches it in. From the front side of the connector you should be able to slide a small screwdriver or paper clip beside the pins to release them. A flashlight and magnifying glass may be handy. Those type of connectors are built to slide the pins in and latch. That makes it easy to push the small tab to unlatch. Failing that, solder and heat shrink tubing are your next best choice.

I’ll look into buying one this weekend. Hopefully it’s as simple as that, taking the attached wires out and just popping mine in to that connector.
Thanks for everyone’s help. I bought the BWD connector from advanced auto, popped the wires that came with it out and snapped my original ones in. All good now.
